2025 SCULPTURE IN THE PARK CALL FOR ENTRIES

DEADLINE JANUARY 31, 2025

Join us for the 2025 annual Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale on August 8th, 9th, and 10th. We're celebrating 41 Years!

The Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale is heralded as one of the finest outdoor juried exhibitions of contemporary, three-dimensional artwork in the United States. This exhibition hosts 160 of the most talented sculptors worldwide and is known for featuring a broad and diverse range of artistic expressions.  The show and Sale are held at Loveland’s nationally acclaimed Benson Sculpture Garden and are presented by the Loveland High Plains Art Council.

This exhibit attracts 15,000 to 20,000 art lovers and collectors nationwide each year. With sales exceeding $1,300,000, 83% of the exhibiting artists sold their work at the 2024 annual Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale.

Sculptor Dennis Sohocki’s Perspective of the Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale:

Dennis Sohocki is one of the original artists, participating in Sculpture in the Park since its very beginning. In 2024, Dennis said, “In my 45-year career, I’ve been in galleries and shows from coast to coast, as well as participated in international shows. Now Loveland is the only show I do because it is the best show in the country for sculptors and collectors.

When the show began 40 years ago, it was like the Lil’ Rascals who said, ‘Let’s just put on our show to support artists and allow our town to buy monuments!’ Undaunted, they created the premiere sculpture event in the country over time and put together one of the best sculpture collections of any town in the United States.

The artists love the show. The collectors and first-time buyers love the show. It’s family and kid-friendly. The art is diverse in styles and mediums and occurs in a beautiful outdoor setting!”

The Beneficiary of the Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale:

Proceeds from the show are used to purchase additional sculptures for permanent placement in Benson Sculpture Garden and to fund park improvements and landscaping needs.  To date, 187 pieces of sculpture, valued at over five and a half million dollars, grace the 10-acre, beautifully landscaped park grounds.

A call for submission of sculpture for permanent installation in Benson Sculpture Garden is made in the fall each year and is open to all sculptors. Sculptors whose work is purchased for the garden’s collection will receive an invitation to exhibit in the Sculpture in the Park the year the piece is installed.
