40th Anniversary
Commemorative Painting
“Fiesta”
Original Painting by Bruce Boynton
In memory of the original Sculptor of “Fiesta”, Carol Gold.
“Fiesta” is a very beloved sculpture in Benson Sculpture Garden, which Bruce and his lovely wife, Teresa, believe encompass the emotion of what the 40th anniversary of the Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale means to so many.
The original painting will be available to bid on in the Silent Auction tent at the 2024 Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale. Loveland High Plains Arts Council will also bring this beauty to print in many formats, such as fine giclee prints, poster prints, postcards, gifts, stickers, and more, which will be available for sale online and at the show.

He has attended numerous painting workshops with award-winning landscape artists and continues study with in-person workshops and online resources.
"I enjoy painting peaceful and interesting outdoor scenes in a representational style, capturing the light and depth of the scene. I take advantage of the beautiful Colorado landscapes around me.
While a painting is often inspired by a real place, creativity and instinct influence the final vision. Art museums and galleries are always on my list of places to visit, and I am inspired by the work of the many outstanding landscape artists here in Colorado and around the country.

Carol Gold
Sculptor of Fiesta
(1937 - 2022)
Carol Gold – a daughter, sister, mother and friend (welder, gardener, carpenter, musician, dancer, chef…) - at her core an artist. Carol was a force – she could be very tough, but at the same time tender and caring. Carol was passionate, with a deep sense of justice and an intense appreciation for beauty in the natural world. She delighted in the animals that lived around her and found beauty and intrigue in all creatures. She would exclaim with glee as the light played on the trees and hillsides. She instilled her love and appreciation for the natural world and all its wonders in her children.
Carol’s art was her lifeblood - her greatest joy.
