“Conveying my feelings about an animal and eliciting emotion from the viewer is my sculptures’ purpose. The expression of a beloved dog, the power of a mountain lion, or the jaw-dropping presence of a coastal brown bear make our existence with animals worthwhile. I have spent time with wildlife throughout the world and know it’s so important to not let more of our natural world slip away. We must balance our needs with being better stewards of our small world. I hope my artwork helps to nurture an appreciation for our animal world.
