A Colorado native, Dave began drawing and sculpting at a very young age. In high school he started working in sculpture studios around Loveland, CO. During this time, he was immersed in all aspects of sculpture and the lost wax process. His first studio job was at Dan Ostermiller's studio where he worked on many monuments. He then landed a job at Kent Ullberg's studio. Since then, Dave’s work has been featured in many publications and shown in art exhibitions from Los Angeles to New York City. Dave's sculptures are featured in both public and private collections throughout the United States and abroad. His sculptures have been recognized by movie directors Guillermo Del Toro and Clive Barker. Dave is an elected Sculptor Member of the National Sculpture Society.
