David Turner

David Turner was born, raised, and resides on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, a wildlife-rich peninsula sandwiched between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, where David’s life-long study of wildlife began. He has a degree in biology from the College of William and Mary. David and his father own and manage Turner Sculpture, which has served since 1983 as their studios, bronze foundry, and gallery. David has created over three hundred limited-edition bronzes and seventy-five large public-commissioned sculptures, including works for Smithsonian’s National Zoo, Brookgreen Gardens, and Benson Sculpture Garden.
