Dwight Davidson

Denver, Colorado

Dwight Davidson received a BFA in 1977 from the University of Utah. He was born in 1949 and raised on a farm in Idaho, moving toDenver in 1981, where he currently lives and works. Nature, mythology, architectural ornamentation, and a sense of humor are major influences in his bronze, stoneware, and bas relief sculptures. His use of polychromatic patinas on bronze and fired image transfers on clay sculpture makes his work unique.

 His work is represented in the permanent collections of the University of Utah Museum of Fine Art; the Dr. Robert and Deanna Harris Burger Collection; and in Harrah’s hotels, casinos, and corporate headquarters.
