Eric Slocombe

San Marcos, Texas

Growing up in a small town in Colorado, Eric Slocombe had the majestic Rocky Mountains in his own backyard. From his earliest memories, he was immersed in the untamed beauty of the wilderness, often venturing into the great outdoors with his father for hunting, fishing, and idyllic camping trips along the riverbanks. Eric turned to sculpting while studying art in college and first exhibited his work in 1984. Today, his bronze work is in private collections throughout the Southwest. Recently, Eric participated in the Nature Works Art Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he won the coveted judges’ award for best overall booth. Eric calls San Marcos, Texas, home.
