Laramie, Wyoming—based artist Jodie Atherton is a contemporary western environmental sculptress and jewelry maker. Her unique style highlights the subtle beauty in eclectic objects. Ephemera tells part of the story as she relies on her imagination to bring these items into a piece. Shared experiences connect viewers to her artwork.

 Jodie has a BA in art with a minor in ceramics from the University of Wyoming. She is featured in the books 500 Tiles:  An Inspiring Collection of International Work, and 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse by Garth Johnson. She has exhibited her work at Western Design Conference Exhibit and Sale, Jackson, Wyoming; Museum of Art Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Yellowstone Gateway Museum,  Livingston, Montana.
