Dan and Joi LaChaussee

Joi received her BFA from the University of Colorado, then continued on to glassblowing at Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University.  Dan's journey began in stained glass. Graduating from high school and eager to learn more, he went to work for Fremont Antique Glass in Seattle, hand blowing sheet glass. 

Joi and Dan met at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Training under prolific glassblowers and adding Pilchuck Glass School to their resumes, they’ve embarked on an adventurous art career.  Working as a team for forty years, they've earned more than twenty best of show and category awards.
