Jolynn Chappell
Walsenburg, Colorado
Jolynn’s first career—30 years as a veterinarian specializing in exotic animals—gave her the anatomical knowledge of the birds and animals she sculpts in bronze. A Colorado native, Jolynn’s art is influenced by the state’s native birds and wildlife as well as the parrots that she has owned and raised for over 40 years. Jolynn and her husband reside in southern Colorado, where she enjoys her horses, birds, and walking their dog along the canyon rim while doing a bit of birding along the way.
Her work has been accepted in shows in Colorado and Arizona. She is an Associate with Distinction Member of American Women Artists. For more information, visit Jolynn’s website, www.naturecanyonarts.com.
