Shari Vines
Loveland, Colorado
Shari Vines was born in Minnesota and raised in the desert of southeastern Washington. Sculpting became Shari’s next chapter after retiring as a human resource executive with 30-plus years in high tech. Her sculpture is mainly representational that frequently morphs to whimsy as she works hard to uncover and capture the core spirit and energy in each of her subjects.
Shari has shown in galleries in Santa Fe, Denver, and Beaver Creek, Colorado. Her work can be found in private and public collections in the US and abroad. Most recently, she installed a monumental sculpture capturing the sacred relationship between caregivers and patients for the hospice care center in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is Shari’s ninth year exhibiting at Sculpture in the Park and she is beyond excited to have one of her life-size pieces, a great blue heron, permanently placed in the beautiful and unique Benson Sculpture Garden.
