A degree in ethology (animal behavior) from Purdue University and passion for animals inspire Diane’s creations, which are frequently interpreted with whimsy. Her permanent public installations are found in beautiful Benson Sculpture Garden and other public gardens, libraries, and public spaces from South Carolina to Michigan, Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado, Wyoming, and Hawaii.  She is a Master Signature Member of American Women Artists, and a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists, for which she served as board president from 2008 to 2013.
