Jeremy Bradshaw
Kennewick, Washington
“I am inspired to sculpt by my fascination with wildlife and a desire for proximity to wildness in my own life. Forming and shaping animal subjects in clay is how I express the admiration and wonder I feel while creating something that I hope to share with others. When my sculptures are experienced, I want the combination of shapes, smooth surfaces, colors, and character in the animal’s pose, eyes, and expressions to help convey my story and experience of that life. My goal is to share my passion for nature, wildlife, and wildness in each bronze I create. In August of 2022 I was the recipient of the National Sculpture Society’s Anna Hyatt Huntington Award.
