Jim Green

Hermosa, South Dakota

Jim Green is an artist working and living in Hermosa, South Dakota. His South Dakota upbringing led him to meld a passion for art with his mechanical abilities and love of animals. In the 1990s he ran a small fine art casting foundry that began the process of his becoming a self-taught artist. Jim’s work is a thoughtful presentation of wildlife that focuses on balance and detail to engage the viewer with a story or emotion.

Jim is an Elected Member of the National Sculpture Society whose work is featured in galleries, exhibitions, and private collections nationwide. His sculpture Pelican Ahoy was installed at Benson Sculpture Garden in 2014. Learn more at www.jimgreenart.com.
