Randy Hamilton

Rocky Ford, Colorado

Randy Hamilton is a self-taught fourth-generation farmer and cattleman who uses his welding and equipment-repair skills to create abstract sculptures that reflect the artistic shapes and colors inherent in his agricultural work. “Function, weather, time, and contact with the soil are the inspirations for my pieces, and uniquely honor my heritage.  Recently, I have moved into creating architectural wall pieces using unique welding techniques, along with different media and materials.  My work can be found in private and commercial settings nationwide; I continue to be overwhelmed by the response to my work over the last 8 years and the opportunities Sculpture in the Park has given me.”
